Cyclescheme have come up with a great way to encourage people to take to two wheels and get rewarded in the process. Being the largest provider of Cycle to Work schemes, Cyclescheme launch the UK’s first national rewards network for cyclists which works in a similar way to AirMiles. Using the mobile app and the MyCyclescheme online hub you will be able to log the miles you cover and convert your efforts into discounts and vouchers.
Some of the biggest lifestyle brands have already signed up to the scheme, including CycleSurgery, nuun hydration, Proviz, Howies, Costa, Odeon, Body Shop, Hallmark, Marks & Spencer, Mothercare and Hotel Chocolat.
To bring BikeMiles to life, Cyclescheme has teamed up with PleaseCycle; the company that helps organisations understand, encourage and reward employee cycling - a proven way of saving carbon, increasing productivity and reducing absenteeism. Ry Morgan, PleaseCycle Co-Founder, said of the partnership: “We’re extremely excited about launching a national platform with Cyclescheme. All of their users will be able to log daily rides with our GPS enabled app – allowing them to track personal stats, compete against colleagues and earn rewards from major retailers for their efforts.”
Already 1,850 independent bike shops throughout he UK have contracts with Cyclescheme and they are working with over 25,000 employers such as ASDA, Sainsburys, the BBC, Microsoft and the Office of Fair Trading, the Department for Transport and the Ministry of Justice.
