I have now used the Philips ReAura for more than 8 weeks and I love it!

My skin looks and feels refreshed, lines have reduced, the tone looks more even and pores look less obvious.  The changes to your skin when you use the ReAura are really subtle, so much so that people won’t notice that you are using it.  With practically no down time – the slight reddening that you sometimes get the day after use is easily covered with a good BB Cream – no one needs to know that you are quietly rejuvenating yourself!

To the outside world you just look a much better version of yourself, only you know how your skin feels, and if you are anything like me you scrutinise your face for every line, wrinkle or pimple.  Do all women know their faces so well?

One thing you must know is that there is nothing at all to fear from using the ReAura, you are always in control.  I use the ReAura on the maximum setting as this feels comfortable for me; if it’s too intense you can easily reduce the intensity.  I also like the privacy of treating myself and as I’ve mentioned before I found the treatment really relaxing.  It also feels like you are doing something constructive to improve your skin condition.

I did miss a couple of weeks during the treatment time, once when I had a cold and  felt too tired at the end of the day to use the ReAura.  I don’t know whether this has made very much difference to how my skin looks and feels, I don’t think so but maybe it could have been even better if I had been more consistent.  It’s this flexibility that I really like with using a laser yourself you don’t have to cancel appointments.

I have also had great results on my hands, and I haven’t carried out as many treatments as I have on my face.  I plan to continue using the ReAura for another four week before I take a longer break.  My hands are smooth and clear and I’m sure after another couple of weeks the one slight mark that is left will fade away.

I do want to show you a close up photograph of my skin but when I had these photographs taken the lighting was so different it’s hard to see.  I will have some more taken and post before and after photographs.

Throughout the treatment I haven’t had any discomfort, very little reddening after use and only slight dryness during the first couple of weeks.  A few small pigmentation marks came up and then disappeared towards the end of the treatment time; I guess this is after the skin renewal time.  The ReAura is simplicity itself to use and the information supplied explains everything really well.

Would I recommend the Philips ReAura to a friend?  I already have!

There is no getting away from it, the ReAura is an expensive piece of kit, but I do think it is worth the investment.  I am told that the laser doesn’t ‘run out’ so after the initial investment you only have the gel and after care treatment to purchase.  You can fit using the ReAura around your own time table no travelling time or costs to go to a salon and you get to see results quickly.

I do think for really great skin you need to be doing a number of things, firstly don’t smoke or drink alcohol to excess.  Keep hydrated, use good fish oils, take a collagen supplement, have a good basic skincare routine, double cleansing and use facial massage, with good quality targeted products.  If you do all these things and use the ReAura to repair and replenish your skin, you will be amazed how much improvement you can make yourself.

If you are looking for a New You in the New Year I can’t think of a better Christmas present than the ReAura, it will freshen your skin and kick start it to repair itself, what better way to start the New Year?
