The Chris James Mind & Body Cleanse is a complete programme of dietary guidance combined with recipes and high quality supplements and cleansing agents, which work to rejuvenate each and every organ, gland and tissue in the body, right down to the last cell.  The purpose of the programme is to reduce acid forming foods in the diet, which include meat, diary, bread, pasta, alcohol and caffeine, and replace them with alkaline ones in order to get the body functioning at an optimum level.

The Chris James Mind & Body Cleanse is a four-phase programme with three days in each phase.  Each phase incorporates taking supplements, drinking hot water and lemon each morning, skin brushing and recording feelings and emotions in a journal.  The cleanse plan must be followed accurately to get the best results.

The Preparation Phase (Day 1-3)
Elimination of certain foods and more alkaline forming foods are introduced.

Pre-Purification Phase (Day 4-6)
Preparation for the power phase.  The diet is streamlined to condition the body for optimum cleansing.  As much raw food as possible should be consumed.

Power Phase (Day 7-9)
This is the time when toxins are intensely eliminated.  No meals are consumed during the power phase.  2/3 Colonic hydrotherapy sessions are advised during this phase.  By consuming nothing but raw fresh juices for 3 days, the body has a break from normal food.  This gives the system the chance to do its own bit of housework, eliminating unwanted microbes, toxins and dangerous pathogens.
Even only taking liquids hunger should stay at bay because the natural fibrous agent contained within the Supercleanse supplement swells up in the stomach making you feel full.
This phase of the cleanse should be done at a time of calm, a weekend or quieter time at work.  This part of the cleanse is usually completed from Friday through to Sunday or from Saturday to Monday.

Maintenance Phase (Day 10-12)
The Power Phase is complete and the digestive system has been given a full service by eliminating a vast amount of toxic waste.  This phase reintroduces solid food and should be a gradual process.  The first meal should be light, maybe just fruit.
