Featuring Dr Perricone, Dafni Go, NYX, Emma Hardie, Nudestix, Aromatherapy Associates, Lucy Annabella and Masque Bar

The seasons are changing and just before summer completely slips away we are recapping on some of the products that we have been using over the past few months.

Dr Perricone

I was given a sample of this super lightweight semi-matte skin enhancer.  With the benefits of skincare and the advantages of a foundation, this product has kept my skin looking really healthy throughout the summer.  I have enjoyed using this product so much that I invested in a full-sized bottle.  It’s not cheap but a little goes a long way.  I’m a total convert and now finding it hard to go back to a traditional foundation.
Dr Perricone No Foundation Foundation Serum 30ml £45.00 available from Lookfantastic

Nudestix

Genevieve isn’t the only one who loves the Nudestix range of lip and eye pencils, I’ve been using the Lip and Cheek Pencil in Sin and I’m now on my third.  These highly pigmented but hydrating lip colours, are long lasting and very comfortable to wear and as you’ll see in the video, the eye colours have great staying power.
Nudestix Lip & Cheek Pencil and Magnetic Eye Colour Pencils £24.00 available from Lookfantastic

NYX

I bought this lightweight pretty peach highlighter in New York last September and I’ve used it practically every day since.  It hasn’t quite run out, but I’ve already purchased a replacement.  A little placed on the cheekbone lifts the face and beautifully catches the light and it’s extremely well priced.
NYX Born to Glow Liquid Illuminator 18ml £8.00 available from Boots

Masque Bar

Genevieve has been experimenting with the Masque Bar Modeling Masks.  There are four available, Charcoal, Lavender, Collagen and Tea Tree each to suit a particular skin concern.  The powder is mixed with water to create a rubber mask which is a hit trend straight from Korea.
Masque Bar Peel-Off Modeling Mask 28g (single application) £4.99 available from Boots

Emma Hardie

The neck is one area that needs special attention but, so many companies fail to make a specific product to treat the area.  Emma Hardie has just added this rich, hydrating, collagen boosting serum to the Amazing Face range.  The clever rolling applicator helps smooth the cooling serum onto the neck and jawline.  The skin instantly looks and feels smoother and firmer.
Emma Hardie Lift & Sculpt Firming Neck Treatment 40ml £65.00 available from Emma Hardie

Aromatherapy Associates

Both Genevieve and I are huge fans of Aromatherapy Associates, their oils are among the best you can buy and I am never without Support Equilibrium, it’s my go to bath oil when the going gets tough.  Genevieve has been using the Anti-Ageing Facial Intensive Skin Treatment Oil with a unique blend of vitamin -rich essentials oils.  Lavender, Vitamin E, Rose and Rosehip Seed oils help to target skin renewal.  For a post-holiday pick me up, it’s hard to beat the Hydrating Rose Face Mask which works to replace moisture to dehydrated skin, it can even be used as an overnight mask.
Anti-Ageing Facial Intensive Skin Treatment Oil 15ml £50.00 and Hydrating Rose Face Mask 100ml £40.00 both available from Aromatherapy Associates

Dafni

The Dafni Go Hair Straightening Brush has been my absolutely lifesaver over the summer months.  London has had some changeable weather and with hair prone to frizz, Dafni was put to work most days.  This clever, compact and efficient heated brush makes straightening your hair so simple.  The brush and cord fit neatly into the carry case making it ideal for traveling and the brush protects your hair with a constant temperature of 185?C.  You simply brush your hair and Dafni does the rest, straight hair in seconds!
Dafni Go £99.99 available from John Lewis

Lucy Annabella

Luxury organic body and bath company Lucy Annabella, created the Argan & Bergamot Organic Treatment Oil that Genevieve has been applying liberally all summer.  The oil awakens lacklustre skin with brightening Lemon and Bergamot essentials oils while Lavender gently soothes redness and inflammation, perfect for post sun exposure.
