On July 9th Charlotte and I will be walking 20 miles to support Breast Cancer Care

Look what’s arrived!  The reality has now really sunk in that Charlotte and I will be walking 20 miles through the night for Breast Cancer Care in three weeks’ time.

Last year another two of my friends died from cancer.  One of them from breast cancer and only months after her mother died of the same disease.  It’s heart breaking losing friends who are so young and really should have had many many years ahead of them.  And I’m not alone; we have all lost friends and family to cancer and the chances are that some of us reading this post will also be diagnosed in the future.

It’s not only the individual person who suffers from this disease, it affects the whole family and this is where Breast Cancer Care can help.  They are there from the very moment of diagnosis to help make the journey easier for everyone.

Our journey will be so easy by comparison, all we have to do is put one foot in front of the other for 20 miles and in a small way with your help we will be supporting those families going through their worst nightmare.

Please can you help us raise (at least!) £400 for this worthwhile charity and we will walk our socks off to complete the course as quickly as possible – we are also hoping to still be talking by the end of it!
