Featuring NIOD, M&S, Sachajuan, Jurlique, Bodhi & Birch, Rouge Bunny Rouge, Models Own and Michael Bublé By Invitation

This month Nikki kicks off our beauty review with a product from NIOD that she has been using for some time.  Superoxide Dismutase Saccharide Mist or SDSM is a dermal treatment mist to help the skin protect against oxidative stress and water loss.  You can add this into your existing regime to help hydrate the skin which is particularly vulnerable during the current change of season.

Marks and Spencer have really upped their game with the Formula Absolute range of products and the latest edition, Ultimate Sleep Cream, has been clinically proven and independently tested.  Taking their inspiration from Korean skincare, M&S have formulated this sleep mask to give skin a firmer, less fatigued and smoother appearance.

Sachajuan is the natural haircare range from Sweden that both Nikki and I love.  The Scalp Shampoo removes dry dandruff and soothes irritated itchy scalps leaving hair clean and fresh without a medicated fragrance.

Over the past month I have been using products from Jurlique’s Nutri Define range which has been formulated with natural ingredients to target advanced signs of ageing.  The stand out product in the range for me has been the Nutri-Define Eye Contour Balm.  Created to work around the entire eye contour, the cream is deeply hydrating which replenishes tones and firms the entire eye contour.  The supplied metal ball applicator helps the product to penetrate.

Both Nikki and I are huge fans of Bodhi & Birch products so we were thrilled to be invited to product test lab samples of their new range of Body Oils.  The three oils in the collection, Sicilian Rose, Chinois Blue and Nordic White are created with 100% natural botanicals and are handcrafted in microbatches to ensure the utmost quality.  If you haven’t yet discovered Bodhi & Birch you are missing out on the highest quality skincare, check them out!

Both the formulations and packaging of Rouge Bunny Rouge products are beautiful.  I’ve been exploring the range and the Foundation Essence Skin Soul Drops has been in my makeup bag all summer.  The beauty of this product is that you can blend the demi-matte foundation fluid with any skincare product, adapting it to exactly what your skin needs.  Easily one of the most versatile products I have.  I’m now adding a tiny drop to facial oil to keep skin hydrated during the winter but still with good foundation coverage.

Models Own has recently launched their K-Kusion range and of course it’s gone straight into Nikki’s makeup bag.  The clever formulations can be built up, giving either a hint of colour or a more intense dramatic look if you wish.  The prices are also pretty amazing!

By Invitation is Michael Bublé’s first fine fragrance for women.  This gorgeous perfume is definitely going to be on many Christmas lists this year.  Everything about it is lovely from the beautiful bottle to the staying power of the Eau de Parfum and the excellent value for money.  You can read our review here.
